Salesforce.com Appoints Ex-HP Exec as New AP President |

Salesforce.com has appointed Steve McWhirter as president of its Asia-Pacific (AP) operations.
“Salesforce.com has made its mark as one of the most innovative technology companies in the industry today,” said McWhirter.
“I’m thrilled to be joining the company at this exciting juncture for SaaS in the Asia-Pacific region as more and more companies understand and experience its revolutionary business benefits.”
McWhirter will report to Jim Steele, chief customer officer and president of international operations, and will be based in salesforce.com’s Singapore office.
He succeeds Stephen J. Russell who served as president since November 2005
McWhirter has some 20 years of sales, marketing and leadership experience under his wing. He was previously vice president of HP Software Asia Pacific, a division of HP Technology Solutions Group. |
