Gurango Infiltrates S’pore Software Market with New Office

Gurango Software, which develops and distributes products and services for the Microsoft ecosystem, has opened a new office in Singapore.

The Philippines based software company which recently completed its acquisition of HR software systems company Absalom, was previously operating in Singapore as Absalom Systems but is now established as Gurango Software.

Gurango Software distributes and implements Microsoft Dynamics GP, Microsoft Dynamics AX, Microsoft SharePoint and Microsoft CRM. In addition to selling, implementing, and maintaining Microsoft Dynamics, the company has also developed a suite of proprietary applications that integrate directly into all of the MS Dynamics products. They include SmartHR – a human capital management system capability that Absalom brought to the acquisition table-- and DynamicPay, an international payroll platform.

The organisation also provides global customer support and research and development from the Philippines.

During the launch, which took place at the Microsoft Singapore offices, company founder and CEO Joey Gurango described the company as an innovative synergy of “management solutions for everyone.”

Gurango said the support of Microsoft Singapore was instrumental in launching the company, noting that Microsoft recognizes the value of partners like Gurango Software.

“We plan to undertake an extensive campaign leveraging Gurango Software’s global reputation and our partnership with Microsoft to expand our market base substantially in Singapore and the region,” said Lachy Gibson, country manager, Gurango Software Singapore country manager.

Gurango has presence in Asia, Australia, Africa, the Middle East, Western Europe, and North America.
