Citrix Systems Continues to Growth in Indonesia

Citrix Systems announced that Citrix’s business in Indonesia for 2007 grew by 24% and its customer base increased by 12% compared to the year 2006. Most of its growth there can be attributed to Citrix customers across industries scaling up their application delivery infrastructure as a standard operating environment as they realise tangible business benefits from their initial implementation.

On the other hand, Citrix Systems grew its ASEAN revenues by 42% in 2008-Q1 and expects to maintain strong growth for 2008, driven by strong demand across key verticals including manufacturing, financial services, and retail. By providing customers with an end-to-end strategy for application delivery, Citrix is helping ASEAN businesses rapidly adopt emerging applications and deliver those applications with the best performance, security, and cost savings to an increasingly diverse set of users and an ever broadening range of application architectures.

"Citrix’s strong performance in Indonesia is testament to the importance of application delivery infrastructure in addressing the dynamic forces impacting today’s businesses and the increasing business requirement for applications to be delivered anywhere," said Yaj Malik, Area Vice President, ASEAN, Citrix Systems.

He adds, their growth in Indonesia is derived from an increase in number of organizations adopting Citrix, some in a big way, and existing customers extending their Citrix deployment. As a result, the contribution of the Indonesian market to overall ASEAN revenue has increased by three times when compared between the first quarter of 2008 and 2007.

With more than 550 customers in Indonesia, leading organizations which rely on Citrix as their strategic technology partner include PT. Dipo Star Finance, PT. Caltex Pacific Indonesia, PT. Semen Cibinong Indonesia, PT. Bank Nusantara Parahyangan, PT. Kalbe Farma, and PT. New Zealand Milk Products.
