Datacraft to Work with Indian ISP, Enhance Data & Voice Services

IT solutions and services company Datacraft said this morning that it will be working with India’s broadband Internet service provider, YOU Telecom, to implement and support a cable modem technology solution that aims to empower high quality Internet solutions for data and voice services.

The project valued at USD 1 million, will see these services be deployed across 11 cities in India.

“In order to accelerate its business growth and differentiate from the competition, YOU Telecom needed an innovative solution to provide the ultimate broadband experience to its diversified customer segments. The cable modem technology would enable them to deliver these high bandwidth services seamlessly, and stay ahead of the competition,” said Sunil Manglore, Country Manager of Datacraft India.

The DOCSIS 2 cable modem solution will enable YOU Telecom to offer its subscribers more bandwidth particularly during peak traffic hours; more personalisation; and triple play services (data, voice, and video) to support the increased demand for new applications. As a result, its subscribers will enjoy a smooth and rich Internet experience along with faster download speeds, CUG Internet Telephony, VoIP, live audio & video streaming, chat services and superior gaming experience.

Datacraft said it will also maintain and support YOU Telecom’s network over a three-year period.
