Nokia Siemens Network has appointed Arjun Trivedi as Head of Sub Region, Indonesia, Nokia Siemens Networks.
Arjun will oversee all operations of the company in the Indonesia Sub region. He was previously Head of Customer Team, Telkomsel at Nokia Siemens Networks Indonesia. Arjun joined Nokia in 1995 and has held several executive level positions in the company in various locations.
Arjun was the Head of Customer Team for Telkomsel at Nokia Siemens Networks Indonesia since April 2007 and with Nokia Networks Indonesia from September 2004 to March 2007. During this time, he achieved great progress in managing one of the largest business accounts with top and bottom-line responsibility. Over the last three years, Arjun has brought strong business performance to the company with substantial expansion of sales revenue via the closure of several significant network expansion contracts, including the ongoing three-year frame contract for 2G, 3G and Managed Services.
Prior to this role, Arjun was based in Singapore as Marketing & Strategy Director for Nokia Networks from January 2002 to September 2004 where he was responsible for marketing, sales and new service development across various regional operators or markets including Optus Australia; SingTel & M1 Singapore; Globe, Philippines; Telkomsel & Indosat Indonesia, AIS Thailand, and Bharti, India.
Arjun was transferred to Nokia Singapore from India in February 1999 as Senior Manager, Business Development from February 1999 to December 2000. In 2001, he was Head of Business Consulting, Mobile Software Integration, Asia Pacific, where he managed and won key mobile commerce projects such as National Payments Infrastructure trials for Mobile Commerce, in a consortium comprising Nokia, NETS, DBS Bank and Master Card. Arjun joined Nokia, India in 1995 at New Delhi as Sales Manager from March 1995 to October 1996 and, was National Account Manager for two years before he was transferred to Singapore.
Before joining Nokia, Arjun worked as a Product Manager and Regional Sales Manager of a large Multinational company in the consumer durable industry for six years. Arjun holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management from XLRI, India where he graduated in 1987. He also holds a Master of Science from Gujarat University, India in 1984, and Bachelor of Science from Gujarat University, India in 1982. He is married and has one child. |
