New Fuji Xerox Printers Cater to SOHOs and SMBs

Fuji Xerox has introduced two printers to meet the burgeoning demand of Small Office and Home Offices (SOHO) and Small and Medium Businesses (SMB) looking for a low cost, quality printer to boost business.

According to Fuji, the DocuPrint C1110B and DocuPrint C1110 are “the industry’s first A4 compact laser printers that deliver the fastest colour print speeds in its class.” It comes with its own colour tandem engine, a 333MHz processor, standard 128MB memory and prints up to 600 by 600 dots per inches.

The colour laser printer market has been expected to grow at a Compounded Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) of 12 percent from 2005 to 2011, with SOHOs and SMBs becoming increasingly aware of the distinct advantage that colour laser printers serve to their business, such as differentiation and clarity to business communications.

"We have seen a surge in the number of colour laser printers sold in the past three years and we expect this trend to continue for the next few years as more businesses use colour laser printers to enhance their business documents," said Jeffrey Tan, General Manager/ Director, ASEAN, Fuji Xerox Printers.

"The declining prices of colour laser printers and its lower Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) have shifted the market from inkjets to laser printers.
