HTC Top IT Company in Business Week Asia 2007 List |

High Tech Computers (HTC) has been named as the top Information Technology company to grace BusinessWeek’s Asian BussinessWeek 50 (BW50) Scoreboard list for 2007. This annual special report which ranks Asia’s best-performing companies which attests to the continuing dynamism of India and Greater China saw the smartphone manufacturer come in second out of long list of 50 which included industries such as healthcare, financials, materials telecommunications and utilities.
“HTC is honored to be included as one of the top performers in Business Week’s Top 50 Asian companies,” said Peter Chou, chief executive officer of HTC.
“We are committed to continuing our strategy of providing customers with the most innovative portfolio of smart devices available.”
HTC was first included in the Asia BW50 in 2005 when it was recognized as number 31 and then rose to fourth place in 2006.
Other IT and telecommunication industries that made the cut include Telekomunikasi Indonesia, Tata Consultancy Services, Yahoo! Japan and Foxconn International Holdings. |
