HP has started the option of offering solid-state drives (SSDs) in all business laptop PCs starting from next month as the SSDs are fast and take less power.
According to HP, laptops will come with the option of 64GB NAND flash memory drives in HP Compaq 2710p, 2510p, 6910p and 8000 series of laptops. The laptops with SSDs will cost additional USD 1000, however the prices are likely to come down once SSDs become commonplace in the market. |
