Roadsend PHP Compiler

Vinu Thomas rejoices on the availability of an Open Source compiler. In his post, he tells you that that Roadsend PHP Compiler was available as a commercial compiler for PHP with prices starting from USD 129. They have shifted to the Open Source model recently, giving free professional license to their older compiler while they are working on releasing the precompiled versions of their open source code base.

They currently have the PHP compiler binaries for the Linux variants –Ubuntu, Debain and Gentoo.

Vinu adds that the compiler works only with PHP 4 code as of now.
