Zend Core 2.0 for i5/OS- Beta Released |

Zend Core has come out with its new beta v.2.0 for i5/OS. Cal Evans in Developer Zone informs you further that the Zend Network has been updated with the Beta version of the new product.
He has listed the following features of the new release:
- PHP Toolkit for i5/OS
- Demonstration PHP application accessing i5/OS services showing the Toolkit functions usage
- PHP class library containing all Toolkit functions
- New version of IBM DB2 extension (PECL 1.6)
- Improved installer
The Zend Core web site tells you to note that this is a beta release and should be used for development and evaluation purposes only. This release should be terminated for production deployments.
