PHP and We Services Podcast

Cal Evans, in a post over Devzone informs you about Dr. Dobbs Journal new podcast featuring Jon Erickson talking to Andi Gutmans, CTO of Zend Technologies, Inc.

He informs you that in this five-minute podcast, Jon and Andi talk about a wide variety of topics. They touch on PHP Scalability, Web Services, Zend Framework and how Zend implemented the Lucene search engine in PHP.

He says, one topic of interest they discuss is BIRT from Accuate. BIRT (Business Intelligence and Reporting Tool) is a reporting tool and the runtime comes integrated in the newly release Zend Platform.
