Enhanced Version of IzPack Java Installer, Version 3.10.0 Available |

The latest version of the open source IzPack Java Installer,Version 3.10.0 has been released. It includes many enhancements and fixes, including the ones contributed by the JEMS team of JBoss/RedHat.
It sports the following key changes:
- Data Check Panel
- Bug fixes
- Registry access extended to keys and values directly under a root key
- Added support for custom icons
- Support for uncompressing archives and adding their content at the installer generation time
- Non-interactive command-line uninstaller
IzPack, an installers’ generator for the Java platform produces lightweight installers that can be run on any operating system where a Java virtual machine is available. It is commonly used to distribute applications for the Java platform. It provides a way of distributing a project to users using different operating systems. |
