Japanese games developer SEGA has said that it is developing SEGA Bass Fishing game for the Nintendo Wii. SEGA Bass Fishing will take advantage of the Wii's control system with the Wii-mote and Nunchuck - motion controlled reeling included as it is a arcade and Dreamcast classic.

SEGA Bass Fishing allows gamers to 'fish' in 15 different waters, with 20 lures to coax four different types of bass in with. Players get to select the time-of-day and season, which impacts the activity of the fish, their appetite, and their depth. SEGA Bass Fishing has four fun-filled game modes including Arcade, Tournament, and Practice and Nature Trip modes.

The game is set for release in 2008. SEGA said with over 20 different types of lures to choose from, gamers can cast off using the Wii Remote to try and land one of four different types of freshwater bass. SEGA Bass Fishing also offers gamers the freedom to select time-of-day and season during play, which impacts the activity of the fish, their appetite, and their depth. When players hook a big one, they can use the motion sensor to reel it in! Featuring 15 beautifully designed lake environments; SEGA Bass Fishing has four fun-filled game modes including Arcade, Tournament, Practice and Nature Trip modes.
