Chinese computer giant Lenovo has launched its latest notebook product—ThinkPad T61p. Lenovo says the product is both energy efficient and its highest-performance notebook computer to date.
This new ThinkPad model comes powered with an Intel Core Duo 2 processor and includes a 15.4-inch widescreen display.
It is also one of their first products to come loaded with support for the ultrawideband (UWB) wireless technology.
The prices for this new ThinkPad from the company starts at USD1,814 and the company said that the notebook would become the part of a planned line of next-generation products that meet the US Environmental Protection Agency’s Energy Star 4.0 standard.
Lenovo claims that the T61p runs cooler and quieter than previous ThinkPads and is up to 70% more energy efficient. The result is that the notebook uses as much as 47 per cent less energy than Lenovo’s older models.
